    About the Role:

    As our Category Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and growing an iconic brand across strategic grocery and specialty channels. You'll collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver actionable insights, optimize sales strategies, and maximize profitability. Reporting to the Director of Sales Strategy and Category Management, you'll be at the forefront of customer development and go-to-market strategy execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute category and sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
    • Collaborate with Sales Managers to create compelling category review presentations and sales materials.
    • Present and sell customers on new items, competitive analysis, assortment recommendations, and promotional plans.
    • Design and implement optimal assortment strategies to meet consumer demand and drive sales.
    • Analyze in-market performance of competitive categories and assess promotional efficiency.
    • Create and maintain insight-based POS tools for field sales and manage sales communications.
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and other partners.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
    • Highly curious with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and syndicated data resources (IRI and Nielsen).
    • Experience with space planning tools (i.e., JDA) preferred.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
    • 3-5 years of Category Management or Sales Analytics experience.
    • Proven track record in planning, developing, and executing category strategies.
    • Expertise in common CPG business tools and data visualization design.
    • Demonstrated success in influencing the sales process and customer-facing roles.
