Buckingham Search is partnering with a leading global privately-held developer and operator of sustainable energy solutions. They're looking to add a Senior Manager of State and Local Tax to their team in Chicago!

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or other relevant field
• CPA certification or other relevant certification, Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation or J.D. preferred
• More than five (5) years of prior experience in state and local/multistate experience required
• Must be able to manage multi-state reviews that analyze franchise, income, exemptions, credits and incentives, and corporate structures that reduce tax burden
• Maintains an advanced knowledge of tax compliance, tax reporting, tax research, and tax planning on a multi-state level
• Experience leading or implementing tax compliance automation software projects; including knowledge of Thomson Reuters, OneSource, Vertex or other software
