Finance Controller
As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization's financial integrity. Reporting to the HR Manager and collaborating with the global Head of Finance and Controlling, you will handle payroll, benefits administration, ledger accounts, bank account reconciliation, tax compliance, and audit preparation. Your analytical skills and ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders will contribute to the financial success of the organization. This is a full-time on-site opportunity at our U.S. headquarters in Elgin, IL.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Payroll and benefits administration
- Ledger accounts reconciliation
- Bank account reconciliation
- Activity tax returns preparation
- Sales tax returns filing for various states
- Monthly cost-plus bookings
- Canada GST/HST returns filing
- Business entity reports preparation for several states
- Collaboration with auditors during audits
- Quarterly sales and net income estimates calculation
- Accounts Payable management
Qualifications:
- Relevant bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of manufacturing experience, specifically in capital equipment
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles
- Experience in payroll, benefits administration, and general ledger maintenance
- ERP software experience, SAGE preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration skills
