    Buckingham Search is partnering with a Commercial Real Estate company to find a Director of Workforce and Culture. This is an extremely important and unique role for the company because this position will act as an HRBP and partner closely with CEO to strategically help grow the company.

    The Director of Workforce and Culture acts as a trusted advisor of HR including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance Management, Organizational Design, and Learning and Development. The Director works with leadership and managers on HR programs, practices, and policies and acts as an employee champion and change agent. They will also works to anticipate people-related needs and formulates partnerships across the workforce to deliver value-added service to EQ leadership and the organization’s talent that reflects the business objectives. The Director maintains an effective level of business literacy about the company’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area.
    • Nearly 7 years of related experience in HR around employee relations, recruitment, training, compensation, and compliance.
    • Strong agile leadership and people management skills
    • Exceptional listening and communication skills; able to simplify information
    • Excellent customer service to partner with various levels in the organization
    • Drawn to continuous improvement, able to drive change
    • Great team player that meets commitments in a fast-paced work environment
    • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    • Deep curiosity and emotional intelligence with a growth mindset
    • Innovation and risk-taking skills
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office products and HRIS related software

    Preferred:

    • Advanced degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, HR Management, or Labor Relations
    • HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
