SUMMARY
Product Information Management Specialist is solely responsible for the management of product data in our eCommerce and ERP platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to:
Product information Management
· Ensure the accuracy of all product content within the product information management (PIM) tool, including key data fields, attributes, product descriptions, images, and documents needed to support online sales
· Strong understanding of data source, transformations, including caveats for unique manufacturer requirements, categories, and datasets
· Research and solve problems with vendor product data
· Add approved new products to both ERP system and eCommerce catalog.
· Create and maintain product data management process and records of changes according to existing standards
· Perform data integrity audits as needed.
· Accountable to develop understanding of internal and external customer data usage and requirements
· Develop training materials and processes for new and existing PIM users.
· Develop reports related to product information and data quality, and other projects as assigned by Pricing Manager
· Participate as subject matter expert in projects/meetings to determine immediate or future data management or reporting needs
· Engage and collaborate closely with purchasing, IT, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful data pipeline
ERP Product and Manufacturer Data Management
· Implement manufacturer price increases
· Enter and maintain time of entry (TOE) manufacturer stock quotations
· Maintain warehouse and catalog product data using PIM tool and ERP front-end user interface
· Administer manufacturer data import from third-party data sources
· Develop and maintain data values, derivation rules, exclusions, and tolerance rules within PIM
· Update commodity costs within PIM tool
· Maintain data values and manufacturer price sheets in ERP
· Communicate vendor price increases within the organization
e-Commerce Product Data Management
· Support data set-up and transformation from PIM Tools to eCommerce catalog
· Ensure that existing and new product listings have ideal SEO metrics
· Follow a production schedule for multiple simultaneous eCommerce catalog publications, while achieving established deadlines for deliverables

· Proficient in data management best practices
· Proficient in current business systems and applications, specifically Infor SXe
· Proficient in epaCUBE, Trade Service, IDW, and Enterworks
· Strong understand of manufacturer product data
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Project management skills
· Great attention to detail and accuracy
· Works well independently and collaboratively
· Basic SQL knowledge a plus
· Able to collaborate with internal customers
· Likes to solve problems by discovering the root cause and training to assure improved performance
· A sense of urgency
· Ability to meet deadlines
EDUCATION
Four-year college degree or high school diploma plus ten years’ equivalent experience; prior experience managing databases.
