We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team who will help with the review of client financial records and deliver accounting services to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and preparing accounting records for clients, technical accounting, and working with clients to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Review of client accounting records and preparing adjusting journal entries related to Fixed Assets, Depreciation, Revenue, and Payroll.
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Individual, partnership and corporate income tax return preparation and planning
• Communicate and work with clients to resolve issues, research transactions, and answer questions

​ Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or bookkeeping role
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Familiarity with concepts of federal and state level taxation
• Previous work with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Experience with tax software programs is a plus
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Ability to interact and communicate with clients (written, verbal, and in person)
• Technologically Savvy
• Ability to analyze issues, perform research and demonstrate critical thinking to apply recommendations
