    Summary of Role

    Full-time sales and designer position assisting customers with selecting window coverings to help with style, function, budget and other factors. Job includes giving consultations, measuring, quoting, following-up with outstanding quotes, ordering, and assisting with coordinating the install and post install follow up. We cover the entire valley but are looking for someone to specifically work and grow our Canyon County market. We offer a mix of leads from both local and national marketing campaigns. Successful candidate will also be willing to work building local relationships with builders, designers, and other connectors to foster a solid referral foundation. We offer paid training and a competitive commission structure that truly enables an unlimited earning potential.

    Responsibilities

    Complete in-home consultations for window coverings including blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, and other home accents.

    Offer exceptional customer service and expert design advice.

    Accurately measure windows and place orders for products.

    Discuss job details with installers and assist with certain installs when necessary.

    Document all sales communications.

    Respond to emails and phone calls promptly.

    Follow up on all leads and pending sales to closure.

    Coordinate with vendors, installers, and office support.

    Stay current on Window Treatment trends and product changes.

    Participate in weekly sales meetings and periodic trainings.

    Qualifications

    Must be people-oriented, charismatic, self-motivated, outgoing, and enthusiastic.

    Excellent, clean driving record, must pass background and drug test.

    Strong math skills.

    Proficient in MS Office.

    Honest, Respectful and Service Oriented required.

    Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.

    Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.

    Strong attention to detail.

    Capable of learning to use and read a tape measure.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Able to work independently and prioritize projects.

    Must commit to generating leads which includes working with builders, Realtors, door hangers, canvassing, networking, etc.

    Must be a TEAM player.

    A passion for window coverings and design is an added bonus.

    Experience in sales, design or home decoration a plus, but not required.

    Previous experience with invoicing is helpful.

    Experience using a CRM strongly preferred.

    Knowledge and previous experience with window covering nice but NOT a requirement .

    Physical Requirement

    Must be able to climb stairs and lift 20lbs.

    Must be ok measuring overhead and while on a 6-foot ladder.

    Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, squat throughout the day.

    Able to sit at a desk comfortable while working on a computer for extended periods of time.

    Primarily working directly in residential and commercial spaces; must be comfortable in these settings.

    Able to assist covering the showroom and home shows including occasional Saturdays and some weekends.

    Compensation / Additional Considerations

    Competitive commission structure with unlimited earning potential.

    Average salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $150,000 per year.

    Additional 3% IRA match available.

    Work location is at our office; we do not offer remote work.
