JB & Associates is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Director of Supply Chain and Production working out of our Lincoln, NE location.
The Full-Time Director of Supply Chain and Production is responsible for overseeing all aspects and day-to-day administration of the Product Management function for the company to include the following:
Essential Duties:
· Build and maintain purchase models related to the planning cycle of all raw materials and packaging.
· Monitor inventory levels and participate in production for commissary and seasonal needs.
· Provide guidance on production needs based on business cycles.
· Maintain accurate receiving status of all shipments delivered in stores and to the commissary.
· Audit monthly inventory counts via Marketman.
· Provide monthly reports to ensure all locations maintain sufficient inventories.
· Keep accurate tracking of inventory transfers between locations and commissary.
· Establishes and directs efficient, high quality supply storage and distribution systems for commissary.
· Directs ordering, receiving, shipping, and warehousing for all products.
· Directs the development and maintenance of inventory management systems which assure appropriate inventory levels for the commissary.
· Oversees the rotation/elimination/par levels of all supplies in the commissary and field.
· Primary goal is to optimize the use of resources, minimize lead times, and ensure on-time delivery of products while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
· Additional Duties as Assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Production or Materials Management.
MUST have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel to include knowledge of basic formulas, filtering, and the ability to create/build individual reporting, and work from multiple spreadsheets simultaneously.
Knowledge of all related computer applications to include Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe.
Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Well organized.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
Knowledge in conflict resolution.
Accurate and attentive to detail.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands:
Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment.
Able to work in small spaces with high levels of noise and temperatures.
· Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50lbs.
· Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances.
