    As a Project Developer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team across budgetary, financial, regulatory, and technical aspects of project development. You will be instrumental in advancing the clean energy revolution by driving the development of solar energy projects from conception to completion. This dynamic role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills, as you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

    Knowledge of Site origination, site control and PPA negotiation, project permitting, utility interconnection, securing state level solar incentives, reap grants, and tax agreement negotiation

    Able to assist in identifying potential sites for solar projects through market analysis and site evaluation

    Ability to conduct feasibility studies, including site assessments, resource analysis, and preliminary design evaluations

    Ability to secure land rights and negotiate lease agreements with landowners

    Ability to support the permitting process by advising on documentation, applications, and submissions required for regulatory approvals

    Ability to collaborate with Regulatory Specialists to ensure compliance with environmental, zoning, and permitting requirements guiding the Project Manager

    Able to assist in financial modeling and analysis to evaluate project economics, including cost estimation, revenue forecasts, and return on investment calculations

    Able to support in securing financing options by preparing financial reports and assisting in negotiations with investors or financial institutions

    Able to review and assist in the preparation of contracts and agreements related to project development

    Ability to craft a compelling value proposition that reflects avoided cost, load profile, applicable tariffs, and layered revenue streams

    Able to help identify the PPA offtakers and negotiate the PPA with local utilities and corporate buyers

    Able to foster support from state, county and local governments, community groups, and utilities

    Ability to develop sales presentations, proposals, and other materials as needed to support project development efforts

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business administration, or a related field with a strong electrical background

    Minimum 5 years of experience in project development, preferably in the renewable energy sector

    Strong understanding of solar energy technology, project financing, and permitting processes

    Experience in commercial and industrial Solar projects is required with demonstration of full life cycle project experience from concept to performance

    A clear set of completed solar projects that have been screened, audited, designed, installed, interconnected and commissioned with Permission to Operate

    High proficiency in MS Office programs with ability to adapt to new software (ZOHO)

    Familiarity with regulatory processes, permitting requirements, and environmental compliance in the renewable energy sector

    Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, present findings, and collaborate effectively and positively within a team

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    NABCEP Certification Additional experience related to O&M on projects

    Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
