    If you are dependable, organized and like to interact with people, we are looking for you to join our Retail Sales or Management team! Our ideal candidate would have knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, general hardware, and retail customer service. The Retail Counter Sales Associate greets and interacts with customers and contractors to build strong professional relationships and maintains open communications. This position is responsible for handling the sales process, from the time of the first request to the execution of the order. This Associate will provide outstanding customer service and is responsible for stocking merchandise, overall presentation of the store, ordering materials, receiving and sending orders to customers.  Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person with related skills and/or the interest and aptitude who is committed and willing to learn. Responsibilities: COUNTER SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE • Greets and engages customers promptly and prioritizes customer service above administrative tasks • Follows up on customer orders and uses point of sale system for sales transactions • Solves problems and notifies customers when special orders are available • Answers phone inquiries, assists customers with phone orders and price quotes SALES FLOOR/STOCKROOM • Verifies shipments and restocks sales floor with merchandise • Maintains stock levels in the stock room • Keeps sales floor neat and organized • Checks the quality and the quantity of products shipped in to ensure order is correct • Participates in inventory control of merchandise PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE • Maintains an awareness and understanding of all product knowledge information • Leverages product knowledge to increase sales by educating and assisting the customer in making the best choice • Answers inquiries to best resolve customers concerns • Keeps updated with product inventory and its functionality Qualifications: • Hardware product knowledge, Understanding of various metals • Retail Sales experience (Hardware) and Stock management, • Computer Savvy, Ability to track multiple projects at the same time and have good follow-through • Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen process and have a clean MVR.
