    We're looking for a Recruiter to join Buildforce's Recruiting Operations team. This role is based in our Houston office and you'll be responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee management, and operational efforts in the Houston, Austin, and DFW metro areas. You'll work directly with the VP of Operations as an early member of the Recruiting Operations team We're a startup, so it's very important that you're a self-starter and can work in a fast-paced environment with a large amount of autonomy. A successful Recruiter at Buildforce is one that is willing to learn quickly, is excited to grow the Recruiting Operations team, and is experienced in recruiting and retaining quality employees. Responsibilities: Execute a recruiting strategy to hire the most qualified candidates. This includes: • Posting on job boards • Cold calling candidates • Conducting interviews and reviewing resumes • Matching qualified workers to open jobs • Managing a database of current and past employees and candidates • Finding new ways to source candidates (trade schools, referrals, networking, etc.) Manage day-to-day field operations. This includes: • Onboarding workers and getting them ready for the job site • Checking in with workers on a regular basis to coordinate scheduling, etc. • Collaborating with the Sales team daily to ensure that positions are filled • Coordinating with the Product and Engineering teams to improve Recruiting Operations Qualifications: • 1-3 years of recruitment experience in construction recruiting • Familiarity with recruiting using job boards, social media, or other online platforms • Knowledge of construction and the skilled trades, especially the MEP trades • First-rate interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with candidates and employees • Ability to develop and maintain positive employee relationships • Exceptional organization skills with the ability to prioritize a series of tasks • You're a self-starter that does whatever it takes to get the job done • You're a team player who's excited to build the Recruiting Operations team • Bilingual - English and Spanish Compensation: $50,000 with commission
