We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Responsibilities: • Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria • Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade • Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours • Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly • The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for responding to guest calls and work orders • They need to have a broad understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, HVAV, plumbing, painting, wall coverings, carpentry, and electronic repair and maintenance **** Qualifications: • This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • Must be authorized to work in the United States Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
