Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts • Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria • Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly Qualifications: • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary • Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED • Must have own tools Compensation: $17 per hour
