Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks Qualifications: • 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role • Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED • You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
