Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures • Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments • Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly • Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines Qualifications: • Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role Compensation: $17 per hour
