Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff • Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours • Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner • Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures Qualifications: • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
