Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff • Must have basic knowledge of pool and spa equipment and operations. Be able to balance chemicals and keep equipment in proper working order. Qualifications: • This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed Compensation: $18 hourly
