Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment • Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner • Remain on-call in case of emergencies by keeping a phone on hand • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues Qualifications: • 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role • Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED • Experience with facilities management software is preferred • This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required • Should have knowledge regarding plumbing, electric, pool, paint and texture, and some general maintenance Compensation: $19 - $23 hourly
