Building Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities: • Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed • Manage other maintenance requests as required • Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs • Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks Qualifications: • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques • Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests • Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems • Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic • Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent Compensation: $16 - $17 hourly
