We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role includes maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, and pools, as well as performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. Responsibilities: • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. • Maintain mechanical areas and tools in a clean and orderly condition. • Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to support efficient operations. • Assist with pool, sauna, and fitness center maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Inspect public areas daily to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Qualifications: • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Availability for on-call hours, including weekends. • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. Compensation: $15 - $18 hourly
