Building Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. • Inspect public areas daily to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring efficient resolution. • Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to support efficient operations. • Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces. Qualifications: • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook). • High school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of related experience or equivalent training. • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Compensation: $18 hourly
