    Mid Cities Psychiatry in Euless, TX is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Building Manager. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our psychiatric outpatient clinic remains a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

    This role ensures that all facility operations, maintenance tasks, and safety protocols support a therapeutic, patient-centered environment. The Building Manager works closely with clinical and administrative teams to promptly resolve any issues that may impact the day-to-day functioning of the clinic.

    Job Description:

    Applicants must be willing to work full-time, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    Benefits:

    Pay - $40,000 - $45,000 per year

    Medical Insurance (eligibility begins the first day of the month after 60 days of employment)

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee the general maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of the clinic building, lobby, patient areas, offices, restrooms, and break rooms.

    Coordinate with external vendors for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, and pest control services.

    Conduct regular walk-throughs to identify and address potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.

    Ensure that clinic signage, lighting, and safety/emergency equipment (e.g., AEDs, fire extinguishers, panic buttons) are up-to-date and functional.

    Manage access control (keys, codes, or fobs) and assist with staff office moves or space reassignments.

    Maintain logs of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.

    Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and assist with Joint Commission (JCAHO) preparedness related to the facility.

    Respond to urgent maintenance issues quickly and coordinate emergency repairs if needed.

    Support clinic events by setting up furniture or rearranging rooms as needed.

    Monitor supply levels for facility needs (e.g., light bulbs, filters, cleaning items, soap dispensers) and order as appropriate.

    Set up staff desktops and user accounts in Google Workspace and our EMR system as needed, and maintain clinic technology and equipment including printers, internet connectivity, and other essential hardware.

    Work closely with the safety officer or clinic leadership during fire drills, emergency planning, or crisis response.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or facilities certifications preferred.

    2+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance, preferably in a medical or behavioral health setting.

    Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.

    Ability to communicate professionally with staff, vendors, and patients.

    Proficient in documenting work orders, vendor communications, and maintenance logs.

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize urgent issues.

    Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality expectations in a healthcare setting.

    Preferred Certifications

    OSHA 10 or 30 Certification

    CPR and First Aid certified

    Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) – a plus, not required
