      Building Superintendent - Construction - Base Salary to 110k/year - Greensboro, NC

      • As a nation's top ranking construction company, our client provides pre-construction and construction services for industries including healthcare, athletics, higher education, K-12 education, and utilities. Our client is looking for a Building Superintendent to provide overall management and direction of projects by planning, directing, and coordinating construction and financial activities ensuring safe completion on time and under budget.

      Responsibilities:

      • Complete daily safety reports; run Job Hazard Analyses/Project Risk Assessments; correct hazards in real time.
      • Enforce company safety policies and site-specific plans; hold all parties accountable.
      • Follow company fleet policy and maintain a valid driver’s license.
      • Inspect work daily against drawings/specs; document issues and drive corrections.
      • Recommend and implement quality improvements with Foremen and subs; close punch lists.
      • Build look-ahead plans and assist PM/General Super with the overall CPM schedule.
      • Run daily huddles and weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
      • Sequence work, verify tools/equipment/materials are on site per schedule, and track progress.
      • Support monthly pay requests with quantities and documentation.
      • Set clear expectations for Foremen, Project Engineers, and crews; coach for safety, quality, and productivity.
      • Provide performance feedback with Foremen; recognize wins and address gaps quickly.
      • Maintain professional relationships with clients, inspectors, owners, vendors, and subcontractors.

      Qualifications:

      • 4+ years field leadership in construction (assistant super/foreman/superintendent path).
      • OSHA-10 required; OSHA-30 and First Aid/CPR preferred.
      • Proficiency reading plans/specs, documenting work, and communicating in writing and verbally.
      • Scheduling exposure (e.g., 2–4 week look-aheads; CPM support).

      Compensation:

      • Base salary in the 95k - 110k/year range
