THE POSITION
As a Project Manager or a Sr. Project Manager, you will oversee the design process through construction administration for structural projects, with guidance from the project principal. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously and demands excellent technical skills along with a strong drive for professional growth within our firm. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Technical Skills:
Expertise in structural analysis and design
Thorough knowledge of building systems; proficiency in designing and analyzing steel, concrete, and wood structures
Thorough knowledge of building non-structural systems
Ability to conceive and develop structures compatible with architectural and building system needs and requirements
Skill in reviewing work of others; locating and correct errors
Knowledge of CBC, ACI, AISC, NDS codes
Effective collaboration with team members and consultants for timely and budget-compliant project delivery
Ability to develop and articulate design criteria
Proficiency in verbal, graphical, and textual communication of design-related matters
Experience in writing technical reports
Commitment to continuing education, self-development and growth
Dedication to providing exemplary client service
Proficient in Revit, ETABs and SAP2000
Management Skills:
Strong project leadership capabilities
Promptness in assuming responsibility and responding to project requirements
Ability to produce fee proposals
Ability to provide guidance to Engineers and Structural Designers
Effective management of multiple design and construction projects concurrently
QUALIFICATIONS
State of California PE required, SE preferred
5+ years of design experience
Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering
