    This design-focused architecture office in San Francisco is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in high-profile higher education projects in California, as well as strong project management and business development skills. You will be helping this company grow their practice regionally, in direct collaboration with their Practice Leader.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage project teams and develop effective project workplans
    • Client relationship building with a long-term strategy for building Higher-Education clients in the region
    • Work with Principal to evaluate project requirements
    • Manage project through all phases of design, from project set up through to CA
    • Prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, and participate in bidding process
    • Consulting and negotiating issues with architects, engineers, and other consultants
    • Monitor quality of construction documents
    • Communicate directly with, and provide coaching as needed, to team members
    • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion goals within the office and on projects
    • Monitor project costs and completion status against budget schedules/timeline
    • Review contractor bids and work with Principal to provide recommendations to owner
    • Collaborates with Principal and Practice Group Leader in business development activities, including pursuing new projects, developing proposals, and client interviews

    Qualifications:

    • Experience leading higher-education projects, including large-scale and complex projects, in the Bay Area
    • 10+ years of experience (post-graduate experience at an architecture firm)
    • Registered Architect (California preferred)
    • Revit experience required, and knowledge of other industry softwares
    • Experience negotiating contracts
    • Proficient with PM software
    • Professional degree in Architecture
