    An architecture and interior design firm is seeking an Interiors Job Captain to join their team in either their San Francisco or Century City office. The company specializes in a range of project types, including commercial workplace (new build and adaptive reuse), amenity work, landlord work, tenant improvement, restaurants and cafes, and workplace strategy. The firm values professional development and offers training and courses in all aspects of the architecture profession, including sales, DEI, and firm finance

    The Job Captain’s primary focus is to support his/her Project Manager and Designer.

    Roles and responsibilities include:

    • Work with the team to help coordinate the project during each phase from conceptual design through construction administration
    • Develop and coordinate plans, specifications, materials and construction administration
    • Prepare and submit drawings for entitlement. Preparation and review of contract documents
    • Provide guidance on technical issues, such as code review
    • Work directly with junior staff drawings, specifications and code research
    • Presentation of project information internally and externally and assistance with client meetings
    • Coordinate drawings with project consultants including: MEP, structural and IT/AV engineers
    • Provide construction administration support including: submittal review, RFI responses,

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
    • 5 years of interior design experience in workplace or hospitality design, ideally in the SF or LA market.
    • Design and documentation experience required
    • Excellent graphics, organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of building codes, standards
    • Strong 3D technical capabilities and experience using REVIT, SketchUp, and Enscape. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
    • Team player with positive attitude!
