Job Capt: Healthcare Architectural firm headquartered in Irvine has an opening in Seattle for an experienced healthcare project architect. We are a fast growing architectural firm with a strong, people centric culture, an emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and providing great service to our clients located throughout California, Washington and Oregon.

Responsibilities Include

- Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovation and functional design

- Identify client’s needs and put together design proposals

- Develop architecture in line with client’s needs, usage and environment impact

- Produce detailed drawings and make any necessary corrections

- Compile project specifications

- Keep within budgets and timelines

- Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations

- Process plans thru the Agency Having Jurisdiction

- Assist in the bidding and contractor selection process

- Make on site visits to check project status

- Coordinate with construction representatives

- Participate in project close out process

Requirements

- Bachelor of Architecture preferred

- 5 years minimum experience in healthcare architecture

- Good client skills

- Strong leadership capabilities

- Previous OSHPD experience preferred

- Excellent communications skills

- Knowledge of Codes and Regulations

- Travel a strong possibility

- Relocation opportunities a possibility
