A mid-size architecture + interiors firm in San Francisco is looking for an Interior Architectural Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join their “Interiors side.” This firm focuses on commercial workplace and interiors (both new build, adaptive reuse, and tenant improvement) and places a lot of focus on professional development of their existing team, helping you make a game plan on where you want your career in architecture to go, how to get there, and then providing support for you to reach that goal. They have in-house courses on all aspects of the business of architecture, a mentorship program, and benefits to support you become licensed, keep your license current, and attend industry events.
Your primary focus will be to support the Project Architect/Designer and Job Captain.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Proficient at production and presentation software.
- Should have the aesthetic sensibility and confidence to contribute design ideas that are respectful of and relevant to the design concept established by lead designer.
- Project Implementation - develop, modify and review design and production documents according to established standards.
- Develop technical details with oversight from project lead.
- Correct redlined documents with rigor and verify accuracy of own work.
- Be familiar with the contracted scope of work and allocated hours for the assigned tasks.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited school
- 1-3 years of post-graduate experience
- Experience in putting together Construction Documentation using Revit
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong 3D technical capabilities and experience using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Enscape
- Willingness to learn and grow Team player with positive attitude!
