This developer/designer hybrid office is seeking a Designer (mid-level or senior-level) to join their team. You will work directly with one of the firm Partners on high-end single-family residential projects in the Los Angeles area (both houses that they develop in-house, and for private clients). The ideal candidate will be licensed and can take a residential project from start to finish, and manage a team of 1-2 junior designers. 

Responsibilities:

• Confidently lead single-family residential projects from start-to-finish
• Manage design of exterior and interior of homes in AutoCAD and Revit
• Manage team of junior designers, including redlining drawings
• Provide design observation on-site for projects around the Los Angeles area
• Source materials and provide samples
• Coordinate with other project disciplines
• Usher projects through permitting, as needed

Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of work experience in an architecture or design office
• Licensure in California preferred
• B. Arch, M. Arch or Equivalent
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with permitting in Los Angeles
• Experience with adaptive reuse projects a plus!
