This entrepreneurial firm focuses on design-oriented work for developers, with many adaptive reuse and new build commercial projects in the works. This firm provides services for architecture, interiors, and landscape design, and values cross-collaboration between their internal design disciplines. They are looking for an architectural Job Captain or Project Manager to join their team – various experience levels welcome to apply! You will work with the Senior Designer and other Project Managers and manage the production of construction documents, as well as oversee a small team of drafters. Their projects are all around Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

• Work on multiple adaptive reuse and new build commercial projects in the Los Angeles area
• Produce and coordinate construction documents in Revit with minimal technical supervision
• Collaborate with internal design team on all aspects of the built design, including interiors, architecture, and landscape design
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors
• Bring projects from Schematic Phase, Design Documentation, Construction Documentation (in Revit), Construction Administration, and Permitting
• Mentor junior staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in an architecture firm
• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited school
• Fluency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Licensure preferred, but not required
