An architecture fabrication company seeks a Job Captain for their internal drafting team. This company focuses on producing custom steel windows and doors, and is looking for a Job Captain that can draft and oversee the production of shop drawings for their custom fabrication studio.

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed drawings and make any necessary corrections
• Manage a small team of in-house drafters
• Compile project specifications
• Ensure projects are kept on-time and on-budget
• Ensure all drawings are draft to our standards, as well as local building codes and regulations

Requirements:

• Higher education degree in Architect; Bachelor's preferred but not required
• 5+ years of experience in drafting
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry softwares
• Fabrication experience preferred, but not required. Steel fabrication experience a plus.
• Construction experience in the Los Angeles area
• Experience managing other drafters
