This landscape architecture firm has a collaborative design process to generate impeccable, beautiful gardens for private clients in the LA and Southern California region. They are looking for a project designer with 5-10 years of experience to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Design Principal in development of landscape concept, design features, planting plans, and other design components
• Manage landscape projects as the sole Project Manager for a private garden, including coordinating with contractors, clients and consultants, from bidding through to completion
• Prepare drawings, DD- and CD-level
• Delegate drafting of CD's as needed

Skills & Experience:

• Certificate, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or related field
• Must be currently licensed and registered in the State of California
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in SketchUp, Rhino a plus
• Experienced in drafting CD's, as well as working drawings of elevation, plans, sections
• Strong communication skills required
• Experience with hand drawing a plus, including perspective drawings, and rendered plans, elevations, and sections
• On-site project management experience a plus
