    Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 plus benefits (DOE)

    THE POSITION

    You are an experienced Project Manager who will manage CEQA clearance for high-profile transportation, land use, urban design, & community planning projects throughout California.  You will provide both environmental analysis and community outreach while working closely with planning & design teams to identify constraints, provide environmental documents, and build support through stakeholder engagement.  You will work with our clients to provide documents that are correct ensuring success throughout the entitlement process.

    IDEAL CANDIDATE

    • A detail-oriented, self-motivated, and energetic environmental planner who can craft innovative solutions to complex issues for the betterment of communities.
    • A client-focused leader who can efficiently and effectively prepare and process NEPA and CEQA environmental review documents.
    • Enjoys taking on management responsibilities such as strategy development, budget development, scheduling, QA/QC, environmental project planning & delivery, quality of projects, team mentorship & management.
    • Experience with participation in marketing efforts including proposal scopes, budgets, and business development.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with environmental consulting in a similar role.  At least 3 years demonstrated experience serving in a project management support role
    • Proficient CEQA skillset, from the proposal to public hearing stage
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in environmental studies, urban planning, technical writing, or an associated field
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task and work within allocated budgets and schedules
    • Demonstrated quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) abilities
    • Experience with budget management procedures and/or tracking software
    • A focused, collaborative mindset with team members and management internally, as well as with clients
