    Job Description:

    Reporting to the CEO, this position will be involved with all aspects of accounting – including production of monthly financial report, maintenance of accurate accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and ensure that reports and records comply with GAAP.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily operations of the accounting department.
    • Payroll
    • Process Bi-weekly payroll through 3rd party payroll administrator
    • Prepare Tax Report
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax report from Deltek
    • Prepare annual San Francisco business tax report
    • Accounts Payable
    • Complete, verify and audit all data input to ensure accurate Accounts Payable processing.
    • Prepare and process deposits.
    • Reconcile and supervise client petty cash management, including entry into the system.
    • Supervise Reconciliation of credit card statements.
    • Coordinate service with outside advisors and service providers (attorneys, accountants, insurance brokers, bankers, investment advisors).
    • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.
    • Accounts Receivable/Billing
    • Oversee invoicing system and entries; set up new clients and users.
    • Construct and prepare client invoices.
    • Oversee financial management of local and foreign clients to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.
    • Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.
    • Serve as primary legislative liaison to bank, CPA relative to company financial issues.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s in accounting or equivalent
    • Minimum of 7 years business accounting, preferably in a design or professional services environment.
    • Deltek Vision experience is a definite plus
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
