Our busy chiropractic office is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, dependable, professional and positive individual with outstanding communication skills. Must be friendly, able to work in a fast pace environment and be able to multitask. Must be able to work independently but function as part of a team. Must be flexible to hours, Monday – Thursday & some Saturday Hours. Starting pay depends on experience and education.
Essential responsibilities:
-Answer incoming calls using proper telephone etiquette. -Check patients in and out. -Schedule/confirm patient appointments. -Perform all necessary paperwork (i.e. patient charts, referrals, appointment cards, welcome packets and treatment plan forms). -Collect all co-payments and past due balances on date of service. -Present financial policies and arrangements accurately to patients. -Facilitate effective patient flow using the proper callback system. -Identify, reference and apply insurance coverage and billing. -Perform basic computer functions. -Act in a professional manner. -Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Familiar with computers and scheduling software
Excellent multi-tasking skills
