    Our client is seeking an an experienced UI/UX Designer to join the Tech Product Team in building the future platform for outdoor fitness. You should have a passion for making the complex simple through innovative design, interaction design, prototyping, user research and user testing. As our UI/UX Designer, you will help shape the experiences of the end users, Trainers and HQ, and will lead the design process for both improving our existing suite of products and creating new products. Our product suite includes our Camper Apps (iOS & Android), iOS Trainer App, Trainer Web Portal, Camper Web, Promotions and more.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Responsible for leading the design of major components of the user experience that scale across multiple products, platforms, and end-to-end scenarios for a variety of customers
    • Responsible for collaborating with Tech Product for product UX strategy
    • Execute the product design process from ideation through deployment
    • Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow of new web and native mobile applications
    • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps
    • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
    • Use business requirements, market research and user research to develop use cases
    • Take broad requirements and translate them into practical designs
    • Coordinate design sprints as well as user testing and research of new products and features
    • Collaborate with product management on planning and implementation of product analytics
    • Analyzing and understanding usage data, user behavior and feature performance
    • Track and define success of feature improvements
    • Create the system of the product iconography, maintain style guides to define UI elements
    • Participate in programs that align to mission, vision and values of the company
    • Maintain fluent knowledge of company's core products, services & business rules

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

    • Enthusiasm for our client's values & mission
    • Education (formal or otherwise) in design, UX, HCI, cognitive psychology, or a related field
    • Proven track record (4 - 10 years of experience) in a UI/UX role working in direct collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders for implementation of designs
    • Ideally, experience with developing new-to-market products or services
    • Portfolio demonstrates rock-solid skills in UX architecture and interaction design, including native mobile work
    • Exceptional strength in consumer software products, with emphasis on mobile first – both native and web apps
    • Strong understanding of Apple and Material Design guidelines
    • Thorough knowledge and experience planning, documenting and leading interactive projects (Web, Native Mobile Apps, Web App), immersed in UX best practices
    • Expert experience with high fidelity prototyping tools like Figma, InVision, Sketch & Photoshop
    • Relentless desire to learn and leverage the latest Web technologies
    • Excellent ability to present and explain solutions and decisions to stakeholders in a style that fosters collaboration and consensus building
    • Experience leading user testing and research sessions and translating that feedback into actionable tasks
    • A deep understanding of software usability principles and information architecture concepts
    • Experience working with developers and translating designs for development needs
    • Be a passionate champion for the user but also know how to factor business considerations into your design goals
    • Ability to welcome feedback from teammates, and thrive on it
    • Analytical by nature, factoring both quantitative and qualitative data points into your designs whenever possible
    • Consider yourself highly skilled in interaction design and visual design
    • Experience running design thinking sessions preferred
