Bulls Eye Recruiting is representing a 40 year old  full-service civil engineering, land surveying, and environmental sciences firm located in Muskegon, Michigan.  Their engineering projects include all types of commercial, industrial, residential and mixed-use developments. In this role you will also get a chance to work with our survey and environmental professionals on joint projects in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge and general civil engineering concepts to support engineering (i.e., conceptual layout and site design, infrastructure design, site development from start to as- built certification, feasibility studies, site grading/earthwork balancing)
• Prepare design computations and quantity estimates
• Provide assistance for municipal and state permitting
• Assist in interpretation and compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
• Provide assistance to engineering team with support services during construction (reviews, submittals, responses to requests for information) Prepare Civil 3D site plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT or on track for obtaining EIT
• Minimum of 2 – 4 years related experience
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Bonus Qualifications

• AutoCAD Civil 3D\
• Experience with construction materials, procedures, and documents
• Knowledge of surveying & surveying principles
• Ability to work independently and contribute to and participate in a team environment
• Construction/field experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
