  • Responsibilities

    JOB PURPOSE:

    To ensure that products are conforming with the agreed quality standards and non-compliances are dealt with effectively to avoid delays and shipment of defective products to the customer

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Inventory management and bin maintenance of all stock held within the Quality Department

    • Ensure stock movements are upkept to allow for a 48 hour turn around supporting stock availability

    • Oversee the organization on stock that is undergoing inspection as well as non-compliant stock that needs to be held

    • Manage the return to vendor process by preparing shipments and shipping documents to meet a 5 day shipping target

    • Communicates with vendors and cross functional teams to ensure non-compliant cases are resolved within 13 days

    • Manages the product withdrawal process by communicating with internal cross functional teams and overseeing the

    product returns from stores

    • Monitors the quality restriction list to ensure materials are not being released without authorization

    • Ensures non-compliant stock is downgraded to second quality

    • Maintain spreadsheets which support global reporting

    • Ensure inventory levels are maintained by keeping stock at a defined minimal level

    • Primary contact for all stock related inquiries

    • Implement and maintain a neat and organized department by following LEAN practices

    • Ensure housekeeping is maintained daily.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

    • Excellent attention to details with strong follow through

    • Self-motivated, requiring little to no supervision

    • Results driven and takes accountability

    • Strong ability to communication through email and

    verbally

    • Ability to read, write and speak English

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule/overtime as needed

    (before/after shift/weekends)

    • Ability to be on your feet for majority of the shift

    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

    EXPERIENCE

    • 1-year minimum Inventory Control experience

    • Experience with RF equipment preferred

    • Experience with WMS preferred

    • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word/Excel)

    • Recruiting and Training Experience
    • Quality Control Data Analysis

    SALARY INFO:

    $19 - $21 / HR
