    Bureau Gravity is seeking an extremely organized individual to manage day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organization skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

    Responsibilities

    Bookkeeping

    • Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete and up-to-date manner
    • Prepare monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
    • Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, processing payments
    • Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections and revenue recognition
    • Conduct reconciliation of all accounts as needed
    • Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner
    • Track expense receipts for reimbursements and reporting
    • Manage state and local vendor regulations and reporting
    • Manage tax preparation / gathering YE documents for tax accountant
    • Draft policies related to financials for the Leadership Team to review
    • Help audit, recommend and implement better processes related to bookkeeping and day-to-day financial management
    • Various reporting for loan compliance (financial reporting, annual Community Impact Survey for Growth Corp, etc.)
    • File Corporate Annual Report

    HR / Employee Record-Keeping

    • Pay contractors and reimbursements
    • Manage employee records (PTO)
    • Input “New Hire” paperwork, set up for accurate payroll reporting
    • 401K contributions
    • Business insurance annual audit reporting

    Frontier Aurora, LLC (separate small real estate holing

    • Manage utilities/insurance premiums/mortgage payments
    • File Corporate Annual Report
    • Compile YE documents for tax reporting

    Operations

    • Reviews P&L and other trackers
    • Implement and monitor department budgets
    • Manage vendor contracts with suppliers

    Leadership

    • Update forecasting spreadsheet
    • Runs cost analysis reports (product development, employee time, etc.)
    • Assist with miscellaneous projects and research as instructed by Leadership Team

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
    • At least 5-7 years experience working in AP/AR, general ledger, payroll
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel and Microsoft Office
    • Develop and implement standards and processes to drive efficiency
