Minimum of 2 years kitchen experience in a high volume operation required, at least 1 year in a similar capacity
ability to break down recipes, convert measurements, and follow written instructions
ability to execute detailed recipes and control portions according to strict company guidelines
ability to multi-task and quickly navigate numerous tickets and verbal orders simultaneously
strong communication skills and knowledge of kitchen terminology and abbreviations
experience with using, maintaining, and cleaning associated kitchen equipment
able to maintain prep and inventory of numerous items according to par levels set my management
able to maintain an attention to detail and meal presentation throughout a high volume shift
knowledge of health codes and sanitation procedures
understanding of quality control and first in/first out method
able to maintain a high pace and intensity throughout an entire shift
positive, helpful, and professional attitude at all times
$8 to $9/hr. depending on skill and experience, and completion of training and trial period.
Up to 40 hours/week with flexible or set schedule with two days off
