Environmental Specialist

Burgess Inspections:  Burgess Inspections, Inc., a major fast-growing full-service commercial and residential property inspection company in the Richmond / Central Virginia area is seeking a full-time Environmental Specialist. The candidate must be certified or be able to take the proper courses and training to certify, in radon and mold testing.

Environmental Job Duties Include:

• Measuring for radon in residential homes and commercial buildings
• Test for mold and indoor air quality in residential homes and commercial buildings
• Speak with clients concerning the results of their tests
• Offering additional value-added services while on site
• Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments as needed
• Additional tasks as needed

Skills

• Must be reliable, present a professional image and have good customer relations
• Strong math skills
• Strong communicator
• Sales oriented

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of car insurance
• Good driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check
