Tax Manager
Years of Experience: 5+ years (public accounting firm)
Location: Tucson, AZ
Shift: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $100,000-$110,000

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required, Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred
5+ years’ experience in public accounting with a tax focus
Experience with Partnerships, S & C Corps and Trust.
Technical knowledge of tax concepts and the ability to apply these services to various client situations
Excellent client service with an ability to expand services with existing clients
Ability to use complex tax systems including Lacerte, and time and billing software
Proficiency in QuickBooks® strongly preferred
Mastery of Microsoft Office and firm software applications needed for day-to-day completion of work assignments
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage tax compliance engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards, within budget and deadline expectations
Supervise tax research, tax communications, and other requested deliverables
Communicate proactively with clients and engagement partners regarding project status, client service opportunities, and other significant matters in a timely manner
Participate in firm initiatives and projects
Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas
