Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Part Time Afternoon School Bus Driver and School Age Teacher to join our team! As the School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the school bus while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a preschool bus driver and working with school age children. This is a closing position 2-6 PM. If you have an impeccable driving record, high safety standards, and enjoy being around children, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Pick up after school students from local elementary schools

Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations

Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly

Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner

Engage with students in a friendly and courteous manner

Follow school daily schedule, maintain state ratios, and class management

Most important is to ensure a fun and engaging afterschool program

Qualifications

CPR/First Aid

Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Ability to manage a school age classroom
