Job Description:
Fabricating high-quality portion-controlled meats for the foodservice industry.
Duties:
- Fabricating steaks, roasts, and chops up to the company and industry standards.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with health, sanitation, and legal regulations.
Hours:
We work Monday through Saturday, (approximately) 5am to 1pm during summer months and (approximately) 5am to 3pm during "season" (November through May).
Compensation:
Pay for this job is based on experience, and is negotiable. Hours are plentiful, and overtime is readily available in season.
Qualifications:
- Some experience is preferred, preferably in the foodservice processing business, but retail butchery or culinary experience may suffice.
- On-the-job training is available if full experience is lacking. We are willing to train employees who are hard-working with less experience.
- Prompt, daily attendance, combined with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift boxes up to 80lbs.
- Military experience is a big plus
