    Key accountabilities of Outside Sales Professional

    Outside Sales Professionals are responsible for generating new business and managing those relationships. They are the key contact between the Company and the Customer and should positively promote our brand and our products. We are looking for success-driven professionals who thrive in a commissioned compensation environment. The ability to effectively communicate with the customer and the Company are key attributes to success in this position.

    Specific Responsibilities of Outside Sales Professional

    • Establish a pipeline of new accounts with restaurants, country clubs, hotels, and other foodservice establishments
    • Take daily orders and enter them into our ERP software; remain in constant communication with the customer to ensure that all their needs are being met
    • Managing A/R collections of your accounts; commissions are paid on collected invoices
    • Coordinate with the Company regarding delivery/logistics in your area
    • Participate in weekly Sales Meetings
    • Provide relevant communications to the Sales Manager on upcoming opportunities
    • Actively seek out Ride-Alongs with Executive Leadership team to help deepen customer relationships

    Additional Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in meat/protein sales for white tablecloth customers. Other industry background will also be considered so long as there is relevant experience with our customer base.
    • Proficiency and understanding of Beef, Pork, Poultry, Lamb, and Veal, and their applications within the culinary setting are viewed very positively.
    • Ability to work independently as the role is primarily based from outside of the processing facility.
