We are a long-standing local CPA firm in Syracuse, NY looking for a talented individual to join our workforce for an entry-level position. Recent college graduates or candidates with a few years’ experience are encouraged to apply. An experienced and supportive team is readily available to back you up as you learn and advance in this role. In this position you will be aiding a variety of clients, from sole proprietors to large corporations, and will deliver a broad range of services so you can explore what interests you most, including:

· Financial statement audits & attest services

· Income taxes

· Some bookkeeping

· Various business filings

· Research & special projects

The right person for this position will have:

· 1-3 years in public accounting or equivalent

· Accounting degree, CPA not required but is a plus

· Experience with Microsoft Office

· Can work independently and as part of a team

· The ability to handle multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines

· Excellent communication and analytical skills
