    Business Admin Order Management Coordinator

    The Role

    Leading IT provider has an exciting opportunity for an Order Management Coordinator/Supply Chain and Logistics Support to play an integral role in the continued growth of a dynamic company.

    Targeting resources in the New York City area, the successful candidate will interface with the accounting department, sales, and management, with duties including oversight of all incoming orders, billing operations, and detailed coordination of all orders processed within the company.

    The key responsibilities include:

    • Processing Purchase Orders from the sales department, placing equipment orders with wholesalers, and tracking until delivery to designated end user.
    • Coordinate with our customers and vendors for accurate and timely deliveries.
    • Coordinate RMA’s (Returns)
    • Coordinate services and track their progress
    • Support our customer support desk with sending order updated to our customers during processing, shipping, tracking updates and confirmation of delivery.
    • Use the programs such as Microsoft Excel, Sage Accounting, and Quoteworks
    • Understand when to escalate order issues and how to mitigate supply chain risks.
    • Learn our customer base and their shipping requirements
    • Hold weekly meetings with management on open orders, scheduled orders, and order issues
    • Generating and prepare invoices, and billing for orders once shipped or delivered.
    • Sales reporting, verification of discrepancies and resolving any billing or delivery issues.

    Qualification

    The key skills and qualities of an AR Specialist and Order Management Coordinator:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with experience in bookkeeping.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email and phone).
    • Strong organization and time-management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and swift with calculating sums, percentages, and deltas.
    • Strong skills in sophisticated reporting and excel.
    • Desired skills include: knowledge in IT and experience with Sage Account, Microsoft Excel and QuoteWerks
