    You are currently pursuing a BS (as a rising Junior or Senior), MS, or PhD in Business administration, or a related degree. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

As a Business Administration Intern in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the IBPE Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

    • Assisting with defining, developing, and tracking key strategic initiatives for Installed Base Products and Engineering (IBPE) Business Unit.
    • Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and tracking, analyzing, and reporting KPI data to IBPE Leadership team.
    • Assisting with Operational Excellence activities including A3s, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
    • Providing support with gathering and analyzing data required for Operational Excellence initiatives.

    Your Total Rewards Package

    The range of base salary for the position is between $17.10 - $22.40 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to communicate in English. Additionally, requires ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and members from the business community. Ability to write articles for publication. Required to have very good oral and written communications. Should be capable of making presentations to customers.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus and modern algebra.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Develops and adapts to new research principles and techniques for application to product development. Determines nature and scope of testing necessary to meet project requirements.
