    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ER & Security Administrative Support professional to join the HSSE & Security team at the Deer Park Chemical Plant. This individual will provide high-level administrative and operational support to Emergency Response and Security functions, ensuring smooth coordination of logistics, training, documentation, and compliance in a fast-paced industrial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the VP or Senior Manager by managing schedules, meetings, agendas, and confidential correspondence.

    • Maintain and organize digital and printed records for ER and Security (e.g., Response Plans, drills, SharePoint content, after-action reviews).

    • Oversee maintenance/testing schedules for fire equipment, protection systems, and quick attack trucks.

    • Track and coordinate training compliance for all Emergency Response Teams (ERTs, Incident Command, EOC).

    • Manage scheduling and logistics for all ERT training activities.

    • Monitor and support Emergency Response and Security budgets, including cost tracking under MSA.

    • Serve as day-to-day Security point of contact and coordinate visitor access arrangements.

    • Support Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) by tracking actions and preparing meeting documentation.

    • Provide general admin support to the broader HSSE & Security (HSSE & SI) team—order meals, manage SharePoint, coordinate site visits, team events, etc.

    • Create and manage purchase orders, requisitions, and expense reports.

    • Report Environmental and Safety metrics as needed.

    • Collaborate with other administrative professionals across the site and organization.

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.

    • Minimum 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments.

    • Must have current authorization to work in the U.S.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive/confidential information with discretion.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and SharePoint.

    • Experience using GSAP or similar procurement/scheduling tools is a plus.

    • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

    • Proven track record of working under pressure with tight deadlines.
