    Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems the Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role within the team, requiring a highly skilled and experienced individual with a proven track record in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

    Operations in a multinational manufacturing organization. The position demands expertise in discrete and engineer-to-order environments, particularly in the areas of trade and logistics, master planning, scheduling, inventory management, and sales and service. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring robust performance and continuous improvement of our business systems. This position will be located out of our Sterling, IL office.

    In addition to technical skills, the Business Systems Analyst will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector's unique challenges. They will be expected to stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to provide innovative solutions that drive our organizations success. The Business Systems Analyst is a pivotal member of our team, contributing to our strategic goals and helping us maintain a competitive edge in the market.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.

    Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting while addressing any issues and ensuring optimal system performance.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and configurations to meet business needs.

    Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of system implementations and upgrades.

    Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business processes, requirements, and objectives.

    Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance business operations and efficiency.

    Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

    Lead initiatives to analyze, redesign, and optimize business processes, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.

    Collaborate with technical and development teams to conceptualize and implement integrations with other business systems.

    Plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities, including timelines, resources, and budget management.

    Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations.

    Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate progress and outcomes effectively.

    Collaborate with and manage vendors, implementation partners, and development teams to ensure project success.

    We are seeking:

    Required: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

    Preferred: ERP-Specific certifications (Microsoft Finance; Operations)

    Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on ERP systems in a multinational manufacturing environment

    Extensive experience in discrete and engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing processes

    Prior experience with various Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) systems is considered an asset

    Strong focus and expertise in shop floor digitization and automation, driving efficiency and innovation in manufacturing operations

    Proven track record of managing large-scale ERP projects, including planning, execution, and delivery

    Experience leading cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and other business units

    Deep understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other relevant platforms

    Expertise in mapping and optimizing business processes to align with ERP functionalities

    Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) and experience with business intelligence software

    Knowledge of change management principles and practices to ensure smooth transitions during ERP implementations

    Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), system integration, and data migration processes

    Prior experience implementing MES/ MOM systems, digital work instructions, training system or AI platforms or technologies within a manufacturing environment would be considered and asset

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
